Our Socialite label Freedom suit is made of quality linen and its design is taken from an original 1940s ladies' suit in our collection. Its all-natural fabric content and light, powder blue colour make it ideal for wear during warmer weather.
The Freedom suit has a wealth of gorgeous original details, including the two jetted pockets on the jacket, the structured panels across the bust, and the notch collar. The suit's standout feature is the sweet fabric bows on its sleeve cuffs and on the back of the jacket.
Beautiful panelling and pleating on the front and back of the jacket create a structured and iconic 40s era pulled-in waist, to create a flattering shape on the wearer. The silhouette of the jacket has a full, Dolman sleeve and light shoulder padding. It is fully lined inside and is fastened with five coordinating buttons.
The pencil skirt is unlined, and has a kick pleat at the back to allow for ease of movement. It's fastened with a metal side zipper and a button at the waist.
Both pieces could of course be easily styled as versatile separates in the wardrobe of a vintage enthusiast.
